About Proper Shaped Balls

Proper Shaped Balls is a site that aims to give a fans perspective on Toronto FC and the sport as a whole from a mainly lighthearted and at times humorous angle, though don’t rule out the odd rant. Articles, stories, blogs and match reports will appear at random with no set frequency though expect match reports to often arrive late. Most of what you’ll find on here will be subjects you’ll find any supporter of the game talking about on terraces or in pubs all over the globe before and after games. While views will always be the opinion of the individual fan, PSB looks to incorporate the voice of the fans as a whole through the comments section, so feel free to leave a comment or drop me a line to editorial@propershapedballs.com. And if you’re really want you can also tweet Proper Shaped Balls.

(Non) Frequently Asked Questions

What is a fanzine?
Football Fanzines originated in the mid-80s around British Football grounds. They were printed magazine written by fans and for fans to give the fans a voice on their clubs. The print fanzine peaked in the early 90′s before the era of the internet took over and as such many fanzines are now produced in the form of webzines online. They aim to give a fans view point of the team and the game with the kind of chat you’re more likely to hear in the stands or in the pub afterwards rather than the newspapers.

Any plans for a print version?
Not now, though I’d never say no if the money tree in my back yard started to produce.

Where is the message board?
No plans for that yet, but maybe if I find some time, by way of that money tree, that allows me to curb my hours in my real job, I’ll look at putting something together.

Can I submit an article to PSB?
Yes. If you feel you have something to say and have a good hand at writing and expressing your opinions then put it together and send it off to editorial@propershapedballs.com. Alternatively, if you don’t fancy writing an indepth article, you can write an e-mail expressing your thoughts and feelings on the team or the game as a whole which I will gladly publish in a letters section.

Can I donate money to PSB?
I’m not looking for donations but if you wanna send me some cash, I won’t turn it down for I’m not holding out hope on the money tree!
